境遇や目的が違っていても、同じ空間で筆を走らせる時間は、さくら書道教室ならではのひととき。
国や世代を超えて函館で「書」を楽しめる、あらためて書の魅力を感じました✨
Last week at Sakura Calligraphy School, people of different ages and nationalities all picked up their brushes together.
✍️ Elementary and middle school students worked on pieces for a calligraphy competition
✍️ Adults practiced “kana works” from the Hyakunin Isshu poetry anthology
✍️ Guests from overseas put their hearts into writing the character yume (dream)
Even though everyone came with different backgrounds and goals, the shared time of writing in the same space created a truly special atmosphere unique to Sakura Calligraphy School.
Experiencing calligraphy here in Hakodate across countries and generations reminded us once again of the timeless beauty of this art form ✨
